About Charlie
I’m a proud southerner. I believe in a place where people are kind and believe in gracious living, good fried chicken and social justice.
I grew up in Alabama and left for the big city of Dallas when I was 25. I built a career in between layoffs and setbacks and started my own ad agency. Along the way I ended up with a “Good Ex Husband.”
After living in Dallas, Charleston, Atlanta, Washington DC, and Austin I finally decided to come home.
“Charlie, you’ve been headed back to Alabama since the day you left” was the surprised response from my friends. So, I guess it’s true. Coming home, I have remembered all the good in this place with a bad reputation and reconnected with a part of my DNA that I am proud to call Sweet Home Alabama.
